In October, we commemorate Black History Month, an opportunity to share, celebrate and comprehend, the profound influence of black heritage and culture.
The Foundation takes great pride in honouring this heritage through our education programmes taught within schools and alternative settings in Northampton.
Preserving the history of the Northampton Saints is a key part of the Foundation which dedicates time to the researching and recording the club's history and remembering the individuals who have bought the club to where it is today.
Among the notable discoveries unearthed during the Foundation's research is the story of Frank Anderson, Northampton Saints' first mixed-race player whose fascinating story is sharing through our Tackling Heritage programme and Heritage Learning Days.
To give you a taster, our education team have developed a worksheet that can be printed and completed by students to gain insights into the life and legacy of Frank Anderson.
