Northampton Saints Foundation is thrilled to announce a special evening event to celebrate the appointment of two new ambassadors, Courtney Lawes and Ethan Waller, and to honour our departing ambassador, Lewis Ludlam, who has been a significant figure at the Foundation for the past two years.
The event taking place on 21st May, at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, will celebrate Ethan and Courtney joining as charity ambassadors and serve as a tribute to Lewis, who will be leaving the club and role as ambassador at the end of the season.
The evening will feature discussions from Ethan and Courtney who will share their motivations for becoming ambassador, aspirations for the future impact on their roles and how the values of the game are bought to life in the Foundation’s work.
Rugby fans can also hear them discuss the season so far and highlights of their career at the Saints.
We'll also hear from Lewis, reflecting on his time as ambassador and how it has shaped his perspective of young people and challenges, they face in society.
“While we are sad to see Lewis go, we wish him every success for his future in France” said Catherine Deans, Managing Director at Northampton Saints Foundation. “The event will be a celebration of our new ambassadors but also a recognition of Lewis’ invaluable contributions”.
In additional to the discussions, the Foundation will be hosting a very special prize draw which will go live on the night. Prizes include Courtney Lawes' signed England shirt worn against Ireland on 24th August 2019 and a mix media art print, number 15 of 50, painted by artist Neil Pengelly, donated by Neil Laxton. A limited amount of 2,000 tickets at £10 each, can be bought on night or online, details will follow.
Tickets for the Q&A evening cost £10 per person, plus booking fee, and can be purchased HERE, with profits going to support the Foundation’s work in the community.
